One thing I'd add to this list. DOGE is a legal strategy, an attempt to capitalize on the slow moving nature of courts. Its biggest insight is that you can destroy government agencies and non-profits that receive funding by moving so quickly that even if you lose in court years later, it's too late to matter.

Good point. Putting these agencies back together would be difficult even if the courts ordered it.
